Ardern won't take the blame for Dunne's resignation

United Future leader Peter Dunne will step down at the election, saying that he's sensed a strong mood for change and that includes the Ōhāriu electorate that he's represented for decades.

His decision has been blamed on the rise of Jacinda Ardern and Labour's growth in popularity in Ōhāriu.

Although on The AM Show Ms Ardern has said that his exit had nothing to do with her.
