Laws-Winston NZ First revival - would you vote "yes"?

Would you vote for a New Zealand First revival featuring Michael Laws? The Dom Post led today with rumours that Michael Laws is planing to team up with Winston Peters for a party "relaunch" later this year. Neither have confirmed the rumours, though the talk continues. Would you consider giving NZ First your vote under these circumstances?

I was happy to see the back of Winston and his brand of cheap politics. Mind you, I think he and Laws were made for each other.

Was Chris Carter right?

Was expelled Labour MP Chris Carter correct when he implied that Labour are unelectable under Phil Goff? Goff revealed in a press conference that it was the MP for Te Atatu who had circulated an anonymous letter calling for a leadership challenge in the party, Carter was promptly suspended from the party. Do you, however, agree with the message from Chris Carter and is Goff leading the Labour Party to nowhere?

One thing about Goff- he said some weeks ago that the reserve bank should have a wider brief than just control inflation - i can't remember what the detail was, but if done right, that would do a lot to fixing our economic problems.

Should we legislate against overseas land sales?

Should the Government put legislation in place that prevents overseas companies from buying land in New Zealand? The Green Party says that a last minute bid by Landcorp Farming for 16 former Crafar family farms is only a one-off solution to the problem of New Zealanders retaining ownership of their productive land. "Landcorp's bidding for the Crafar Farms will not... fix the fact that our overseas investment regulations are an open invitation for the rest of the world to buy up NZ," said Greens co-leader Russel Norman. John Key says he doesn't want Kiwis becoming tenants in their own country. Are the Greens right and should overseas ownership laws be changed to prevent foreign ownership of our land?

Its ironic the ruling party of New Zealand is called National when they want to sell the very land us kiwis live on - Traitors.
