Why the Destiny Church walkout?

Would you walk out on your church if it began asking you to 'go without' in order to raise $3 million? A pastor and 90 followers stood up and walked out of a service in Brisbane, being run by Bishop Brian Tamaki's wife, Hanna Tamaki. Churchgoers were asked to "give it heaps" (of offerings), on top of the tithes and school gifts already offered. What do you feel caused the walkout?

I had the oppurtunity to meet both these Pastors Lez mentions in his comments and they were great decent Pastors and men who did the right thing and moved on due to the so called restructuring of the Destiny Church.
It seemed it was all Brians way or the highway!

Should cigarette smoking be banned by 2020?

Should New Zealand ban tobacco smoking altogether by the year 2020? A study has found half the nation, including smokers, support completely banning cigarettes within 10 years. The study polled 1608 people, including 422 smokers. 49.8% of Kiwis agree that cigarettes should be taken off the shelves by the end of this decade. Is a cigarette free market the future?

Well if they did... Id be first on the boat too a land were freedom of choice is a right... Not only is this a freedom of choice issue... It is also starting too impose restrictions on freedom of movement with in ones own country.. As there are certain public places we are not allowed too be seen doing a legal act.. At the moment it is not highly policed but if it was... It would be a borderline a human rights issue.. And make us no better than China and other country's.. Who restrict freedom of movement upon there citizens...

Should Clarke choose cricket or Lara Bingle?

Should Australian cricket vice captain Michael Clarke forget Lara Bingle and concentrate on his cricket career? It has become apparent that his relationship with the model is taking precedent over his sporting duties after he dashed home on the eve of the team's third one-dayer against the Black Caps. His premature departure was over a nude photo scandal involving Bingle. Would you choose sport or love?
