Will banning foreign investors cool the housing market?
Submissions on the Overseas Investment Amendment Bill closed earlier this week.
If the bill becomes law it will prevent non-residents and non-citizens from buying current housing stock.
This is good news to the ears of groups such as Campaign Against Foreign Control of Aotearoa (CAFCA) who are represented by Murray Horton.
