Labour Party looking into second sexual misconduct at separate event
The pressure on Labour Party officials over the handling of an alleged sexual assault incident is reaching boiling point.
Four teenagers claimed they were assaulted at a Labour summer camp last month.
Labour’s General Secretary Andrew Kirton says the incident has not been handled well by the party and ensures incidents like this will not happen again.
Speaking to Ryan Bridge and Lisa Owen on RadioLIVE Drive though Mr Kirton admits there is a second sexual misconduct from a previous Labour Party event being looked into.
He would not confirmed when or where this second incident happened but did say the incident did not involve a minister or MP.
