BASE jumping: Grab a chute and jump off a cliff, right? Make sure you clear the rocks on the way down and all should be sweet, right? But what about if you're jumping off in an extra special way? What if your plans to disembark the rock face include a high bar? What if you're planning to somersault your way off the cliff? Well, making sure your high bar is secure is the first step. None of this rickety framework, please. It might snap. Surgeon and BASE jumper Richard Henriksen has a bit of a flare for performing gymnastics before jumping. This clip was captured while filming for Norweigan TV show "Normal Madness". The high bar was placed on the edge of a 1,200m cliff, but the apparatus broke while Henriksen was mid-swing. After a moment of shock, we're relieved to see he survived!
