The familes of the Pike River miners have given up the fight to retrieve the bodies of their men

The decision was made at a meeting in Greymouth last night - family spokesman Bernie Monk told RadioLIVE about how this difficult decision was made. Bernie says that if they had the information they received last night from Solid Energy, this decision would have been made 14 months ago. 31 May 2012
