What is your ANZAC story?
Whether you yourself have a story to share or one of a parent or grandparent, we'd love to hear your tale.
The most moving war story I ever heard was told by a teacher at my school. His father had been shot in the head on the front line during World War II. The bullet miraculously travelled through both temples, damaging only his eyes.
While receiving treatment for his resultant blindness, he met and fell in love with a nurse. That nurse was my teacher's mother.
