Scientists convicted for not warning about quake - Audio
An Italian court convicted seven scientists and experts of manslaughter on Monday for failing to adequately warn citizens before an earthquake struck central Italy in 2009 - Dr Mark Quigley, Senior Lecturer in Tectonics and Geomorphology, University of Canterbury explains more.
Dr Quigley says that he is concerned for the parties involved in Italy and he feels comfortable with the way that the situation was handled after the Canterbury Earthquake. 23 October 2012
