I was raised Exclusive Brethren. I left them in 1972 but found the Christian habit (culture)hard to give up. But the more I looked at the realities of nature and particularly the vastness of the Universe the harder I found it to believe. I was torn until I found Dawkins (The God Delusion & Climbing Mount Improbable) and then the Hitchslaps courtesy of Graham Hill's webpage. Sorry to hear of Hitchins' passing however I know he accepted death as a part of life and he has become immortal through the legacy of his contribution to intelligent thought and rationality.
