The second half of November still looks fairly settled for most of the country as high-pressure wants to hang around our shores for a bit.
But thunderstorms were fairly active at times over the northern part of the country this week and some with squalls and hail to boot. Yet the rest of the nation has enjoyed relatively settled conditions with late spring temperatures
While show week in Canterbury has seen crowds flock to the show, the races and a number of different events being staged. The weather in the main area has played its part and traditionally that is the case… Locals hope that this tradition will be maintained for some years to come yet!
