VIDEO: Haka at Auckland Airport - The British and Irish Lions have arrived
The British and Irish Lions have finally arrived on our shores for a highly anticipated five-week stint that'll see them play Tests against the All Blacks and regional sides throughout New Zealand.
Supporters of the side, which is made up of the best players from throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, turned out in their droves at Auckland Airport to welcome their rugby heroes.
Lions players were met with a traditional powhiri at Auckland International Airport's arrivals lounge, including a wero - which Lions captain Sam Warburton accepted on behalf of the squad.
The team was then treated to a rousing haka from a kapa haka group.
Lions tour manager John Spencer thanked the group for their "incredible welcome".
