According to The Fact Checker, US President Donald Trump has made over 3,000 false or misleading claims so far in his presidency.
Graeme Hill is joined by John Dybvig for his take on the latest news of the week from the United States.
Dybvig asks listeners to put themselves in the shoes of Americans by imagining Jacinda Ardern being as dishonest as Mr Trump.
“Trump's a chump," Graeme Hill added.
Dybvig dissects the lies and tears apart his ‘act’ oncemore.
There’s a lot of irony in Mr Trump receiving a prank call this week from a comedian DJ. Plus, the trade wars are in full swing and soybeans are in trouble.
Mr Trump is also about to meet the Queen and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Dybvig jokes of the situation being much like “Yin and Yang”.
Warning: John does always try to contain himself, but there are a few swear-words used, so listen to this week's Letter from America at your own risk.
