Former Thatcher cabinet minister and Conservative leadership contender, Michael Portillo, has transformed into a much respected media figure.
He joins Graeme Hill after presenting season five of Great British Railway Journeys.
The series focuses on how railways affected the economy and social life in history, often looking at literature, art and music of the period.
