Mike Puru is joined by John Dybvig for Letter from America, to share the latest news of the week from the United States.
Earlier in the week, the summit took place. Dybvig believes it was just a huge public relations stunt in attempts to win a Nobel Peace Prize in the footsteps of former US President Barack Obama.
Nothing was signed that says North Korea will denuclearise. They’re simply going to work towards denuclearisation.
“They’ve been saying this for thirty god damn years.”
“Let me school you," Dybvig says to Mike before unleashing his opinions on Trump.
"Trump did a press conference in front of the White House this week. He told 19 lies”
Dybvig then lists an array of lies.
Trump is fundamentally destroying the fabric of American democracy.
Word of the week is ‘flip’- the two banter over where the word applies in American politics.
Plus, Phil Nicholson putts a moving ball in the US Open.
Warning: John does always try to contain himself, but there are a few swear-words used, so listen to this week's Letter from America at your own risk.
