Can a book change a life or even many lives?
Book publisher Lisette du Plessis believes this wholeheartedly and so is launching Magpie Pulp, a crowd-publisher set to produce books with the power to make the world a better place.
Ms du Plessis joins RadioLIVE’s Vaughn Davis to take a look at her new company.
The initiative started when Lisette spent six months editing the words of ‘200 Women Who Will Change the Way You See the World’.
It inspired her to try and advocate for books.
The motive of Magpie Pulp is to be a publisher "that is bringing readers and booklovers into the publishing process.
Ms du Plessis discusses the importance of the start up, and the impact she hopes the start up will achieve.
