Imagine a rural community where fresh milk is kept cool in the shade and electricity is non-existent.
For some farmers in rural Africa, this is their reality.
Agribusiness specialist Robyn Cox just returned from a Government-funded trip to assist rural African farmers in improving their dairy farming practices.
Ms Cox, who can’t reveal which nation she was in, helped small scale farmers with everything from feed conservation to animal production.
Many of the farmers will make US$100 or less across the year for their work.
Robyn Cox talks to the Rural Exchange team about her work.
