New proposed water rules may affect farmers

The Government has unveiled its plan to improve New Zealand's waterways, promising a "noticeable improvement" in water quality within five years. 

However, some industry groups are worried about the pace of the plan and how farmers and irrigators will be impacted.

Federated Farmers water spokesperson Chris Allen joined Rural Exchange to discuss some of these concerns.
