A 4.49 hectare blueberry plantation has gone on sale in the Waikato, presenting a very rare opportunity.
The property has been with its current owners for over 20 years, says Scott MacDonald, Bayleys Hamilton country agent.
He says the block is already well established, picking approximately 17 thousand kilograms of blueberries last season.
"It's a short timeframe the growing season [...] you'd definitely be able to fill the space outside of that to enjoy life,” Mr MacDonald told RadioLIVE’s Rural Exchange.
He says the broader Waikato Bayleys team are looking forward to a big month in October, with their "go-to guide" country magazine releasing at the start of the month.
