A multinational co-operative has announced its highest-ever annual revenue in its financial results for 2017.
Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) booked $236 million in total revenue, up 16 percent from the previous year.
LIC chairman Murray King says the corporation is "match-fit for future years" after some one-off transformation costs which helped to re-assess the business.
Mr King told RadioLIVE that the results are a reflection of sustained confidence of farmers in the company, and the value its products provide for herd improvement.
LIC also consolidated their shares after a shareholder meeting in March.
