Beef & Lamb New Zealand took the opportunity to roll around the 50th Fieldays and have some great discussions with farmers all over the event grounds at Mystery Creek, Hamilton.
Chief executive Sam McIvor says it's been a good opportunity to get feedback from farmers regarding M. bovis.
"[Farmers are] happy that a decision has been made and really keen to see the next steps”.
While the company’s new chairman, Andrew Morrison broke down the Taste Pure brand.
"For years we've thought the rest of the world produced stock the same way we did, he said.
But now we've realised we're quite special.
Both joined the Rural Exchange team at Fieldays to discuss the new levy increases and whether the upwards trends of meat demand are here to stay.
