Grace Millane is one of six people killed in New Zealand in the last 11 days.
Among them was a woman attacked at her home in South Auckland, allegedly by a man she knew.
He's now been charged with murder.
Forensics were at the scene today, where locals say a child's screams rang out across the quiet suburban neighbourhood on Monday night.
"The small boy was screaming mum, mum, mum," one resident told Newshub.
Police say they were called to a house in Flatbush in the city's southeast about 10pm on Monday night after they were alerted to a woman being attacked.
It's around this time that this neighbour, who didn't want to go on camera, says the woman's child started screaming.
