Night Talk 10/09/2018

Every Monday night after the 10pm news, Mitch Harris is joined by Marty Duda of online radio station Radio13 to look back at a classic album.

This week: The fifth studio album by Tina Turner is widely known as her breakthrough album, as well as her biggest seller. It was a return to form for Tina after a couple of tough years following her divorce from Ike Turner.

The album features multiple singles, the most successful being What's Love Got To Do With It, the title track Private Dancer, Better Be Good To Me and Let's Stay Together.

Tracks played:
- Better Be Good To Me
- Let's Stay Together
- 1984 (David Bowie cover, taken from his 1974 album Diamond Dogs)
- A Fool In Love (from 1960, the very first recording of Ike & Tina Turner together)
- Private Dancer
- I Can't Stand The Rain
- What's Love Got To Do With It
