One of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters says the mood in the United States is “ecstatic” following the appointment of Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to the life-long role.
Steven Rogers, a member of the Donald J. Trump for President 2020 Campaign Advisory Board, says it was a “huge victory” for the President.
“And a big victory for the American people because our constitution says you’re innocent until proven guilty, whereas the Democrats tried to make the point that the judge [Kavanaugh] was guilty until proven innocent,” Lt Rogers told RadioLIVE.

The US Senate voted to approve Mr Kavanaugh’s nomination 50-48, despite a number of women accusing him of historic sexual assaults.
Hundreds of people protested outside as the nomination was confirmed, shouting "shame". Mr Trump earlier called them "paid professional protesters" in a tweet.
Speaking to RadioLIVE’s Mark Sainsbury, Lt Rogers said the United States is “booming”.
“[Mr Trump] cut our taxes, our economy’s booming, our military’s strong. The world leaders, despite what the mainstream media is trying to project, respect him.
“America’s back and America is strong,” Lt Rogers said.
He’s really taking care of the American people like no other leader I can remember.
Lt Rogers says minorities in the US are feeling better, “because the unemployment rate is at its lowest.”
