Whitcoulls has unveiled this year's most favoured children's books, as voted for by Kiwi readers.
The Kids' Top 50 showcases the best children's books, which thousands of young readers have found and fallen in love with.
Whitcoulls' Head of Books Joan McKenzie joined RadioLIVE's Mark Sainsbury to discuss this year's top picks.
She says this year's selection of books is the best of the best and should be part of every child's collection.
Here's a look at the top five:
1. Harry Potter Series
New generations are discovering the boy wizard, just as many of his earliest fans are reading them all over again.
2. The Treehouse Series
This series of books about an amazing treehouse which just keeps getting bigger and bigger has a real sense of fun and adventure, which explains the massive popularity.
3. Dog Man Series
Dog Man is a crime-biting canine who is part dog, part man, and all hero! But can he resist the call of the wild to answer the call of duty?
4. Diary of a Whimpy Kid
Greg Heffley keeps a diary about his rotten life, his dysfunctional family, and his best friend Rowley Jefferson - all of which worry him all of the time.
5. The World's Worst Children's Series
The World’s Worst Children series is David Walliams’ unique take on the classic cautionary tale.
