Legendary Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes is bringing the heat back to New Zealand, this week announcing a one-show only concert in Lower Hutt this summer.
A “bunch of really great mates” will join Barnes for The Red Hot Summer Tour, scheduled for February 5th 2019 - described as an all-Aussie invasion.
The ‘Working Class Man’ will be joined on stage alongside synonymous acts including The Living End, The Angels and Diesel.
“These guys are all close friends of mine – they’re all such good rock and roll bands,” he told RadioLIVE’s Leah Panapa.
“The Living End are unbelievable – for me, one of the best rock and roll bands I’ve ever seen.
Barnes says each band will “give it everything they’ve got” to wow the crowds at Lower Hutt's Recreation Ground.
Promoter Eccles Entertainment says The Red Hot Summer Tour will be the biggest rock show ever seen in Lower Hutt.
In May this year, Barnes brought his Working Class Man: An Evening of Stories and Songs tour to New Zealand.
