John Palino has signalled intent to run for Auckland Mayor in 2019 – which would mark his third crack at mayoralty.
Mr Palino, who hails from New York, came second to Len Brown in 2013 and fourth to Phil Goff in 2016.
The restaurateur and real estate agent told RadioLIVE’s Wendyl Nissen that in order to win, he’ll need support from either Labour or National.

“I want to fix the problems that we have,” Mr Palino said, remarking that Ph.
Mr Palino says that while he respects current Mayor Phil Goff, he believes the mayor is going in the wrong direction.
