At The Movies with James Croot

Weekend Variety Wireless 20/01/2018

This week we look at some of the new releases on 'At the Movies'.

Firstly we look into Darkest Hour, the film that looks into Winston Churchill's early years as Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War 2.

Ryan says the great Gary Oldman as Churchill is a shoo in for an Oscar Best Actor whilst James suggests the film is a great compliment to Christopher Nolan's 2017 war movie Dunkirk.

Next we look at 3 Billboards Outside Ebbin, Missouri - a dark crime film folllowing the rape and murder of a young girl.

James predicts the film will win Best Picture at the upcoming Academy Awards.
