Annabelle White: Coffee Mousse with Sally Wise


If you're after an easy and delicious treat, try Sally's extra special coffee mousse.

Into a pot place:

  • 1 cup water
  • 11/2 cups sugar
  • 4 level tsp gelatine powder
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Simmer for 3 minutes then let cool down.

Take 1 can of very chilled evaporated milk.

Beat that in a bowl and add cooled down gelatine mix that has 1 heaped tablespoon coffee powder dissolved in it.

Combine and decorate with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
