Our road toll is at 'crisis' level

The road toll has passed a grim milestone - 328 people dead on our roads so far this year, the same number that died in the whole of 2016, and still a month to go.

Patrick Reynolds is from 'Greater Auckland',  a group set up to encourage debate around transport issues and urban design.

It’s a crisis, an epidemic.

He joins Lisa Owen on Afternoon talk to discuss the terrible road toll and what can be done to save the lives of our motorists, including changes to speed limits and road laws.
