New Zealand Football plotting Peruvian downfall
The New Zealand Football CEO Andy Martin covers off the finalised details of the intercontinental playoff between the All Whites and Peru next month.
The play off dates were announced today. Wellington will host the first leg Saturday November 11 with a 4:15 pm kick-off, while the second leg will be played in Lima on Thursday, November 16 at 3:15pm (NZT).
"We have been waiting for this confirmation for some time so we are pleased we can start building towards hosting Peru on 11 November," said Martin.
"The interest in this FIFA World Cup qualifier from the media and the New Zealand football community has been huge and our team has been inundated with calls on these details. Now it is confirmed we can complete our preparations and look forward to one of the biggest sports events in New Zealand."
