Camilla Sacre-Dallerup is a Strictly Come Dancing winner, a motivational speaker, a hypnotherapist, a life coach, a Latin dance champion and an author.
At moment, she's the head judge on Dancing With The Stars NZ, but is better known as the "nice judge".
She joined Trudi Nelson on Weekend Life to share her views on transforming your life and career, and re-inventing yourself.
After spending six years as an official dance partner on the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing, Camilla says she turned her life around.
“I started feeling like there was a reinvention happening, which is an interesting scenario for anybody who has done something for many years.
Suddenly waking up and thinking I’m not sure I want to be doing this anymore.
“Something inside was kind of empty, it just felt like I had nothing more to give in that job,” she told RadioLIVE.
At the top of her game, Camilla felt it was right to leave the show.
“I was always passionate about writing, and helping people. So I decided to leave the show and my dancing behind.”
But she says her friends and family questioned her reasoning for leaving the show, which was the highest-rating TV show in Britain at the time.
“And I said I have to follow my passion. My gut feeling was there is something else you need to be doing here.”
