Mediaworks celebrate rural NZ with Young Farmer of the Year

Rural Exchange 05/05/2018

Rural Exchange is excited to announce that a new deal will see MediaWorks broadcast New Zealand’s longest-running agricultural contest - The FMG Young Farmer of the Year.

The 50th Grand Final of the iconic contest will be broadcast on ThreeNow, a free streaming service, meaning you can watch the contest on-demand on your smart TV, computer, and mobile.

2018 FMG Young Farmer of the Year Contest Chairman and past competitor Dean Rabbidge joined Rural Exchange to celebrate.

Mr Rabbidge said that many Kiwis have fond memories of watching Agri-contests on TV, but in recent years the contest "hasn't been trendy enough".

But Rural Exchange is changing that this year, with RadioLIVE's own Sarah Perriam getting the shoulder tap for broadcast hosting duties.
