New Kiwi product keeps pasture growth consistent

Rural Exchange 15/04/2018

Rural Exchange were lucky enough to speak to the Innovation Leader for Ballance, Jamie Blennerhassett, about their exciting product PhaSedN.

The idea came from the high fertiliser prices worldwide at the time, especially phosphate.

PhaSedN is a unique fertiliser formulated with SustaiN, fine elemental sulphur and lime, to provide pasture growth in autumn and support new growth early in spring.

PhaSedN is ideal for:

  • Low sulphur soils
  • High rainfall areas, where there's high risk of sulphur leaching
  • Areas high in phosphate but low in sulphur and nitrogen
  • Effluent blocks requiring tactical nitrogen and sulphur

Invented and made in New Zealand, the company identified the potential use of nitrogen sulfur independent of sulfate and took advantage of it.
