Real Estate Institute NZ (REINZ) says there have been 50 fewer farm sales than expected for the first three months of this year.
Officials state that the cattle disease Mycoplasma Bovis is making buyers more cautious than usual.
So we go to our straight shooting Southland Rural Real Estate agent, Hayden McCallum, who say’s that farm sales may be down but sales of run-off blocks are on the increase as farmers look to contain their livestock.
