Pet Talk: Why vets make good characters in fiction

Morning Talk 26/03/2018

Novelist Holly Ford is in studio to talk about how veterinarians can make great characters for novels.

Her publisher Louise Thurtell describes her as “one of the most-talented commercial fiction writers I’ve ever come across in my 25-year publishing career”.

Her latest novel, High Country Hero, is part of a series of books based on gutsy women who aren't afraid to take what they want and men who are worth their trouble.

Ms Fords's novels celebrate life and love in some of the world's most rugged farming country and this story is…..about life, love and the power of healing of a dog.
