Mark Sainsbury is joined in the studio by Myles Gazley of Gazley Motors. This week Myles looks at AA car safety ratings and Mark’s participation in a demolition derby in Wellington on Saturday night.
Myles reports that the new Mercedes Benz ute, which is based on the Nissan Navara, the Jaguar e-Pace and the Volkwagon Polo all make the list with a 5-star rating.
The next generation of the Holden Commodore will hit the New Zealand market this month also with a 5 star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP).
The new take on an old family favourite scored well across a range of crash tests, achieving an overall adult occupant protection score of 93 percent, and a child occupant protection score of 85 percent.
AA Motoring Services General Manager Stella Stocks says these results make the vehicle a safe pick for families.
