Auckland Council has court order to sell activist Penny Bright's home

Activist Penny Bright is digging her toes in over plans to sell her Kingsland house so Auckland Council can collect the $34,000 she owes in council rates.

The council says it has tried numerous times over the past decade to arrange a payment plan but Penny Bright did not want a bar of it.

The council has had enough of Ms Bright and has received a court order saying they can sell her home to recover the owed rates.
