There's no denying the weather across the country lately has been amazing.
But within 6 months, we’ll be back into winter and you’ll be wishing for a sunny escape.
House of Travel’s Katrina Cole joins Rural Exchange to wet our appetite on where to escape the farm for some deserved rest and relaxation.
She says the hot spots for travelling in 2018 include Iceland, South America and the Galapagos Islands.

Cuba is also another top spot for travellers.
“It’s like stepping back in time” she says.
Cole says Laos and Myanmar are also popular destinations, noting food and culture as big attractions.
Japan is also becoming more popular among people wanting to getaway.
“I think it’s the scenery, the culture, the food, the people… it’s very different to New Zealand.” Cole says.
