Both parties are being treated completely even handedly
New Zealand First continues meeting today. Winston Peters says we will know his decision by the end of the week.
Labour Leader Jacinda Ardern pushed back at claims the major parties are simply lapdogs in these negotiations.
"In these negotiations we have it in our power to say that these are the things that we’re willing to talk about and compromise on and these are the things we are not.
A party only extracts whatever deals another party is willing to give up and do a deal on.
“We have a lot of power in our hands. It’s up to us to decide what is incredibly important for us to deliver in government.”
