VIDEO: Calls for more Kiwi women to enter the construction industry
New Zealand has a huge shortage of construction workers and it's estimated we need more than 60,000 workers in the next three years alone.
And there's a simple solution to that problem… get more females onto building sites.
Kymberlee Popapa is a prime of example of how that can work.
She's just completed "Nailing It", a course aimed at teaching women the basics of building at Manukau Institute of Technology and she's already in a job.
She spoke to Duncan Garner.
