VIDEO: The Rock jokes about US Presidency on SNL
Actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is considering campaigning to become US President in 2020 - and he wants fellow Hollywood heavyweight Tom Hanks to be his running mate.
While the announcement may have all been in jest, the former WWE wrestler told GQ Magazine he was thinking about challenging incumbent President Donald Trump for the White House earlier this month - and a poll last week revealed Johnson might beat him.
And now Johnson, who hosted popular skit show Saturday Night Live for the fifth time at the weekend, has revealed he's definitely in, saying the poll result was "very flattering".
"Let me just say, once and for all: I'm in. Starting tonight, I am running for President of the United States," the Fast & Furious 8 star told the studio audience, to rapturous applause.
"In the past, I would have never thought of running for President - but now, I'm actually worried I'm too qualified."
