Carly sits down with music expert Kris Edwards, to talk about all things Christmas music. There are a number of artists on Kris' list that you would have never expected so give some of these tunes a listen. Don't be a Grinch- get into the Christmas spirit!

Ronan Keating - Summer Wonderland

If your after a recent kiwi hit, give this one a listen. Made in conjunction with Air New Zealand, its a great take on a traditional Christmas song, with an awesome video.

Kelly Clarkson - Wrapped in Red

Kelly invites you to sit beside the warm glow of her fireplace while you listen to the sweet sounds of her first christmas song.

Country Songs

Michael Buble - Home

It's the king of Christmas! anything Buble is bound to put you in Christmas mood, so if you feel like getting festive to the soothing sounds of a beautiful voice, give this hit a listen.

Kenny Rogers / Dolly Parton - Once Upon A Xmas

If your after something more traditional , there nothing like a bit of Dolly and Kenny.

The 80's

The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York

You would never think that a irish-british celtic punk band would pull out a Christmas hit, but Pogues managed to do it. 30 years on and theyre still going strong! Click here if your keen to check it out. 

Boney M - Mary’s Boy Child

The German vocal group found a way to reinvent a gospel classic, and somehow make it their own in the process. The 1981 hit is a Christmas corner stone that will keep those grinch tendancies at bay. 

Wham! - Last Xmas

The duo - founded by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley - managed to make a christmas song into a pop hit. If you're looking for a christmas song that will make you want to dance, give this one a go.

Band Aid - Do They Know Its Christmas

This is quite possibly the most famous modern Christmas song. With a collection of household names, like Bono, Phil Collins and Sting this was bound to be a Christmas hallmark.
