London's First Lady of Soul is about to hit our shores with a familiar sixties swing in her step.
Graeme Hill speaks to PP Arnold ahead of her one-off performance at the Powerstation May 20th.
PP Arnold has recently released a new album, The Turning Tide- made with Barry Gibb and Eric Clapton through the late 60's to early 70's, marking an unlikely and exciting comeback.
She’s sung with a myriad of megastars. While touring England with Ike & Tina Turner’s Ikettes she decided to stay in London and like Jimi Hendrix found herself in the white-hot creative cauldron of swinging sixties London. See her here with The Small Faces performing one of the age’s most iconic numbers.
Catch another of her groovy solo performance's here.
