More people are using fuel savings over cash-back rewards.

How loyal are you when it comes to using a loyalty card or rewards scheme?

Ipsos research director Jonathan Dodd joins Graeme Hill to talk surveys, polls and attitudes from the masses and this week discusses customer loyalty programs.

Mr Dodd says Ipsos recently conducted a survey on Excentus, a global customer loyalty and rewards service, and found some interesting results.

According to the Excentus-Ipsos report, US consumers have ranked fuel savings as their preferred loyalty currency over cash-back rewards.

64 percent of Americans actively use a fuel savings scheme.

“And I had a look in New Zealand; Fly Buys has around 2.5 million members and AA Rewards, when you look at the number of people on it with Countdown, that’s 3.5 million,” Mr Dodd told RadioLIVE.
