Host Wendyl Nissen weighs in on controversial make-up course
An intermediate school in Wellington recently abandoned a make-up tutorial class after receiving complaints.
The class was offered after receiving requests from some students. It was shortly dropped from class offerings after parents complained it would send the wrong message to girls.
The Long Lunch host Wendyl Nissen and CFFC Group Manager David Boyle joined The AM Show to discuss the controversial class.
The course was intended to be a fun time students to express themselves, discuss puberty, and understand how to avoid a “provocative" appearance.

The AM Show with Duncan Garner, Amanda Gillies and Mark Richardson, weekdays 6-9am on RadioLIVE and streaming live to the rova app on Android and iPhone.
