Pamu hires farming critics to leadership roles

As part of the new regional development programme, Pamu Farms of New Zealand, says it will plant up to 1000 hectares of land in trees during the 2018 winter.

It's part of the Government's forestry-planting programme. Chief executive Steven Carden says the state farmer will plant up to 2000ha of forest in 2018 and 2019.

Landcorp has re-branded as Pamu. CEO Steven Carden joined Rural Exchange to discuss the appointment of farming critics to leadership positions on environmental issues.
