Character of the Country: Life on the road, like a gypsy
For some industries, the lead into Christmas is their busiest time of the year.
But for many in the agricultural sector, the busy season is from the start of February until the National Fieldays held in June.
It can mean spending a lot of time on the road, like a gypsy, unpacking & repacking as you move from town to town for the next event.
Trevor Goodeve from Taege Engineering in Canterbury is this week’s Character of the Country. He joined Rural Exchange to discuss his interesting life.
Mr Goodeve was nominated by our very own Richard Loe, co-host of Rural Exchange.
Quite honestly, he's a good bugger.
"He's done a lot of good stuff," Richard said.
