Pulled Pork and Apple Slaw

Your dinner guests or family won’t need to know you’re telling porkies when tell them you made these Pulled Pork Burgers from scratch! Deliciously easy and packed with flavour.

Serves Prep Time 15 Minutes Cook Time 5 Minutes

Ingredients 

4 burger buns

250g store bought coleslaw

1/2 green apple, julienned

1/4 cup fresh mint (we love Superb Herb)

1/2 cup mayonnaise (we love Best Foods)

Juice of 1 small lemon

1 pack Hellers Pulled Pork

Method

  1. Slice the burger buns in half, and toast in the oven until lightly golden.
  2. To make the slaw combine the slaw mix, apple, mint, mayonnaise and lemon juice in a bowl. Season to taste and set aside.
  3. In a pot or microwave, heat the pulled pork as per pack instruction.
  4. To assemble, divide the slaw amongst the bottom half of the buns. Spoon the pulled pork over the slaw, then place the bun lid on top. Serve immediately.
