Earlier this week Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinian protesters rallying against the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem.
The number of people killed in the riots has risen to at least 60, with more than 2,400 wounded.
It marks the highest Palestinian single-day death toll since the 2014 Gaza war.

Speaking to Mark Sainsbury on Morning Talk, broadcaster Mike McRoberts said it brought back some “terrible memories”.
McRoberts last reported from Gaza in 2014, during the war.
He told RadioLIVE the attacks this week were “barbaric” and a “legacy of disproportionate responses seen from the Israeli defence force”.
