Father opens up about losing his son to synthetic cannabis
The dangers of synthetic cannabis have plagued headlines in New Zealand, with over 20 deaths believed to be connected with the drug.
Lewis Jones sadly lost his son Calum to synthetic cannabis in September 2017. He joined Mark Sainsbury in the studio to discuss his loss and penalties for synthetic cannabis suppliers.
Mr Jones shares his painful story on his son’s addiction.
National MP Simeon Brown has since brought up a Bill to increase sentences of synthetic cannabis suppliers from two to eight years.
